Patchwork Madras
We recently found out about Dolbeau, a company that makes great ties and other menswear accessories and put this outfit together based on one of their ties to show you a great summer look. So while the rest of #menswear was hanging out at Pitti or on their way to Milan, we were hanging out by old fountains pretending we were in Italy too.
The tie Anthony is wearing is a madras patchwork fabric. It’s made of Japanese woven cotton, so the fabric is all one piece and not stitched from different patches of fabric. Each tie is hand cut and hand sewn per order so you know you’re getting great quality and individual attention.
The summery feel of the fabric from the colors to the lightweight material, makes it the perfect choice for dressed up warm weather attire. We paired it with a yellow gingham shirt to play up the checks and plaids in different scales. To keep things on the casual side, we paired it with an unstructured cotton blazer and canvas sneaks.
